Sheepvention 2019

Another terrific result for Silk Southdowns at this years Sheepvention.

Our successes this year included

• Supreme Champion Shortwool ewe in the Heritage feature show

• 2nd place in Lyle Walter ASSBA group

• Champion and Reserve Champion ewes

• 1st place in all  four ewe classes.

• 1st place in pair of rams

• 1st and 2nd in groups

• best hindquarter sheep for a fourth consecutive year, again with one of our ewes.

With the Heritage breed being the feature of this years show, southdown sheep numbers were at a level not seen for a number of years.  The style and quality on show was a true credit to all invovled.
